I bought this pack with fanny pack and peak 1 frame about 15 years back from Chet at the Sportsmen's Show in Harrisburg, PA. Hunted with it in Canada for caribou a couple of times, bears in Maine, deer, turkey, bear, and small game in NY, PA, MD, WV and have used and abused this pack every which way to Sunday. I finally broke a zipper (the zippers are truly far better than on any pack I've ever saw - hands down) after several years of over-stuffing the pack - Chet told me to send it back to fix under warranty, although I know this wasn't a mistake on their part, but nonetheless, I send it back and the warranty is as they say. It was fixed, sent back and I used it hard for several more years and hundreds of outings. This isn't just my hunting pack, I use it for camping, hiking, kayaking, fishing, skiing, it's even my go to pack when I take the wife and kids to an amusement park or some other type of outing (actually, I still carry it each year to the Sportmen's Show). It is of the highest quality and there isn't a pack that is built any tougher than this one, and that's why I'm buying a new one today. I've actually worn out the camo from 100's of decent washings, and clothes line dryings in the sun of this backpack for bowhunting. Last 3 years I've put leather dye on the material to make it sorta camo again. But it's time for a new backpack - of course I'm buying the same one and am glad to see it still will attach to my peak 1 frame which I still use frequently. If this one last like the last, I should be good for another 15 or so years. If you're in need of a tough, well built backpack that you can really use hard - don't hesitate to buy this one, you won't be disappointed.
