1. Excellent light duty pack

   Just completed an archery elk hunt here in Arizona and used the Coyote Pack. For longer forays and extended spot-and-stock hunting I prefer something with more capacity, internally and externally. However I know this will be the perfect pack for my upcoming deer, antelope, coyote and other medium sized game hunting. It is much cooler (we were hunting in 85 deg weather) and more than adequate to carry the basic necessities for shorter hunts. Excellent product for what it is intended.

   It's been long enough since purchase to review the coyote pack & I like it. Six years (acquired in 2013) and pack is going strong albeit just a little abused. Holds what I need each day secure from loss and elements of nature. Can't say it best as only purchase two other brands before learning of Rocky Mountain Packs. Whether deer in NC or elk in CO it works for me. Stuff sack is a hand addition for items which are not required every day, easy on, easy off.

   After reading several reviews, I was expecting an exceptional pack. The pack is good, but to be exceptional, it would need a few more touches, such as 2-way zippers and a little more attention to detail inside the pockets. I am satisfied with this pack and I consider it worth the price if you are in the market for a fanny pack and moreso, looking for ANY bag in ASAT.

5. Great for the morning and evening elk hunts.

   I've been using the Coyote pack with the stuff sack for the last 3 weeks. The stuff sack is the perfect add on to turn this into an all day pack. The pack is well made and the strap that runs from the back of the pack to the shoulder strap connector keeps the pack in place. The pack is lightweight and well made. I give the Coyote and the stuff sack an enthusiastic recommendation!

   If you're a fanny pack guy , the coyote pack is for you period. I've used an wasted more money on fanny packs then I want to admit an finally the coyote, what a pack light,comfortable an pack a load. Thanks Rocky Mountain

   I work for the U.S. Army in Germany. As a proud holder of a German hunting license, there are different styles of hunting here. As I have used the Coyote in the last couple of weeks, I am convoinced, this is an awesome hunting pack. I have used several different styles and brands and none compare to this one. I also purchesed the accessory pouch and will be purchasing the Stuff Sack.

   Rocky Mountain packs are made of very high quality materials! Made here in the USA for a good price. We as hunters need to look more into where our gear is made. This pack will way outlast any similar product made in some foreign land!
